Divorce in Morocco is governed by the Family Code (Moudawana). Depending on the situation, the procedure is a mutual-consent divorce, a divorce for discord (chiqaq), a khol’ or a judicially supervised divorce, always before the family section of the first-instance court. The lawyers below, registered with the Marrakech bar, handle these procedures and what follows: child custody (hadana), alimony (nafaqa) and division of assets.
